Apple integrated NFC (Near Field Communication) Chip to their latest iPhone 6 which push their technology further to the masses, but as we all know Apple doesn't make this feature open as of Android and Windows Phone. Apple confirmed that this NFC chip is only be used with Apple Pay, which is the new paying platform for iOS users. You cannot share photos, music or any other information between phones due to restrictions.
It is possible that Apple made it open in future, as we know that finger print scanner is also restricted to iPhone 5s, but know Apple open it for development use. And for know if you want to use NFC in your new IPhone 6 you have to pay.
