Htc One M8 and LG G3 are considered to be the Android's best smartphones of 2014 by experts because of the new and improved features and design. Both companies ( HTC and LG ) are struggling to make a name or to lead in the smartphone market by introducing such an amazing smartphones.

HTC one M8 was bring out on March 25,2014 in a press conference with a lot of new improvements from the previous one and there's also some improvements in camera. LG G3 successor of LG G2 was first introduced by LG officials at a press event on May 27,2014. And LG G3 is also known LG D855 or we can say model number of LG G3 is D855.
PRICE:
Htc One M8 and LG G3 are quite expensive and there's a quite difference in prices of both smartphones. However, once you hold any of Htc One M8 and LG G3 you'll acknowledge that they should summon such a premium. Htc One M8 available in international markets with price of almost $ 820 and LG G3 also available in market with a price tag of $ 830.

Htc One M8 got a positive response from the experts because of its better design which makes it unique from others. Its frame is of uni-body aluminium along with dual front speakers. Drawback:-
The only thing which people criticized that there's no change or improvement in camera means M8 comes up with the same ultra pixel camera 4.0MP and experts also criticized the largest button-less bezel below the display.
LG G3 :
LG G3 almost whole body made up of metallic skin feel like brushed metal. Its body being branded as metallic but actually its body is not made of actual metal. Its available in many colors like black,white,gold, burgundy and violet. Its look too big but actually its 5.5 inch along with Gorilla Glass 3 large screen display. And LG G3 weight is almost 149 gram seems not too heavy. LG G3 dimensions are 146.3 mm in height,74.6 mm in width and 8.9 mm in diameter.
There's a Qual-comm Snapdragon 801 chip-set along with Quad-Core, 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor. And 2 GB RAM is used for 16 GB internal memory model and 3 GB RAM used for 32 GB internal memory model and memory card slot supports up to 128 GB micro-SD card. LG G3 have Bluetooth 4.0 v and micro USB v 2.0. And the Wi-Fi connectivity is 802.11 a,b,g,n, ac.
Android's latest version 4.4.2 (Jelly Bean) is running in LG G3 along with many wonderful features. Some sensors like accelerometer,compass,voice dialing and voice commands like Call mom or play music (song_name) and voice recording.
2.1 MP front camera which allows user to make video of 1080 p and primary camera 13 MP allow users to make video of 2160 p along with many other amazing features like smile detection, touch to focus, HDR (high dynamic range), voice activation and optical image stabilization.
Disadvantages:
LG G3 criticized due to its brushed metal body means body is not made of actual metal. And other things which LG have to improve is its low quality speakers and average battery life in LG G3. And some other disadvantages on which LG have to focus is no IP-certified dust/ no water resistance.
